This course gives successful delegate's knowledge of relevant Regulations, Codes of Practice and good safe working practices along with hands-on practical skills to enable them to safely erect, move, alter use, dismantle and inspect mobile tower scaffolding. The aim of this course: - Delegates emerge as safer, more capable and confident operators - Legislative compliance - Reduced risk of accidents and incidents - Successful delegates will receive a certificate and ID card to demonstrate their level of competency and safety to the PASMA code of practice

This course ensures that delegates gain sufficient understanding of current legislation and learn skills which will ensure the safe way in dismantling, erecting and inspecting mobile access towers. Topics covered include: - Types of tower scaffolding - Regulations and Codes of Practice - Stability of towers - Use of outriggers and stabilisers - Course of accidents associated with towers - Safe use of towers - Loading on towers - Understanding manufacturers instructions - Practical erection, movement, dismantle and inspection of tower scaffolds - Practical test - Knowledge test - Course review and evaluation You will complete a multiple choice test and a practical training session throughout the duration of the course. Once you have passed the assessments, you will be issued with a PASMA certificate and ID card. These are currently valid for 5 years.
