An Introduction Course for staff new to their role or undertaking their first formal training. This 1 Day Course defines the role of the Manager/Supervisor and explores Management styles, going on to explore Morale and Motivation. The course gives an insight into key elements of the following areas: • Leadership and Management of people • Their own Management style • What people want at work • Motivation • Their own motivation and that of others

By the end of the course delegates will be able to: • Demonstrate knowledge of different leadership and management styles • Identify their role in the process of motivation in the workplace • Understand management skills, attributes and qualities to be a successful manager New Managers/Supervisors who wish to share experience and best practice in a structured participative and positive environment. All of the above content will contain activities and practical examples with full interactivity throughout the course.
