How Ginger Nut Deliver Our training delivery is based on a blended model of one-to-one sessions every 4 weeks, with group sessions, webinars, online courses, video, and additional support as required. This means that our learners have the guidance they need as well as the flexibility to learn around the requirements of their jobs. We find that this approach reduces disruption for the learners and their line managers giving everyone the best chance of benefitting from the training and completing the course. In addition to this, learners are expected to update their portfolios with evidence and to carry out mock projects to ensure they are fully prepared for their End Point Assessment. All learners are given access to LinkedIn Learning, including bespoke channels designed to support their apprenticeship and Perlego, which includes full searchable access to hundreds of thousands of textbooks to support study. Training is structured around a series of one-to-one visits covering the following core topics: Introduction – business structure, event assistant role and commercial environment Event lifecycle and roles Purposes of events, client expectations and evaluation Laws, regulations, and onsite events teams Suppliers, logistics and impact Venue research and selection Personal presentation and prioritising Client Feedback Budgets Sustainability Online events There is no requirement for external exams with this standard. Project Activity and Portfolio Building Learners will create a portfolio of evidence through the apprenticeship which contains a range of types of evidence and supports the project, demonstrating that the apprentice has met the requirements of the standard. This will be tested via a professional discussion that focuses on the softer skills of the standard, testing the competence of the apprentice as well as exploring what has been produced in the project and portfolio, how it has been produced and how well they are performing in their role. The professional discussion covers any parts of the standard not evidenced through the project and portfolio. Gateway and End Point Assessment Learner will complete a project / practical case study that covers the core of the role and is most likely to involve the apprentice supporting an event or pitch. The professional discussion covers any parts of the Standard not evidenced through the project and portfolio.
