This short CPD course is designed for teaching, administrative, and support staff within the education sector who create, share, or manage digital learning content. It develops confidence and competence in producing effective digital presentations, integrating interactive media, and collaborating via institutional platforms such as PowerPoint, Microsoft Stream, Forms, and SharePoint. Delivered as a tutor-led, classroom/blended session (1 day, 4.5 hours), participants will gain practical experience in building accessible, engaging resources and automating aspects of learner tracking and communication. Through hands-on, workplace-contextualised activities, learners develop the ability to design, record, and securely share digital presentations that support student progress and institutional communication goals. This course develops the digital presentation and collaboration skills needed for educational professionals to design and share engaging learning content. Learners will: Create and format multimedia PowerPoint presentations using consistent, accessible design principles. Insert and manage interactive quizzes using Microsoft Forms. Record narrated presentations using Microsoft Stream and integrate media into slides. Upload, share, and manage digital presentations securely through SharePoint. Apply permission settings and notifications to support collaboration and learner tracking. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, copyright, and data security principles. Reflect on how digital presentation tools can enhance engagement, accessibility, and administrative efficiency. All skills are developed and demonstrated through live, contextualised tasks.

To be eligible for this training, you must be: • 19 years old or over • Employed, volunteering or an unpaid worker. • Have the right to live and work in the UK. • You must not already have achieved a level 2 qualification, in this subject, in the last 3 years. This support is available for those living in Greater Manchester or one of the neighbouring areas. These include parts of Lancashire, Derbyshire, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, and Cheshire – your eligibility will be checked by one of our Skills Coaches.
