The Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship helps develop the skills for your teams to provide the best service and develop positive relationships, both internally and with your clients. It offers specific pathways for both investment and banking professionals.  The Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship develops an in-depth understanding of the current financial services environment, creating the opportunity for direct business impact from day one.  The financial industry covers a wide range of businesses including investment management, retail and corporate banking, and investment banking. This apprenticeship enables your employees to develop the key attributes to become highly competent professionals in the industry.  This apprenticeship also has a common set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that offer specialist pathways based on the type of sector and firm where the individuals work.

Learning Objectives

This apprenticeship will provide your employees with the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours to build successful careers and have lasting impact on your business.  Through our strong collaboration with employers and linking the apprenticeship to their roles, learners get to focus on building key skills critical for success in their careers. They benefit from a highly supported environment with regular webinars for the qualifications they study and the assignments they complete.  While developing a positive impact for your business, your employees will gain excellent communication skills, along with the ability to understand, interpret and fulfil client requirements to the highest of standards.   Upon completion, your employees can continue their personal development on the Level 7 Senior Investment/Commercial Banking Professional Apprenticeship.

Funding Eligibility

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
