This Level 4 Apprenticeship is ideal for anyone working with children, young people and families, including carers, to achieve positive and sustainable change in their lives.

Learning Objectives

This apprenticeship covers the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to be a Children, Young People and Families Practitioner. This apprenticeship programme consists of 'on-the-job' and 'off-the-job' training. You will receive on-the-job training from your employer and will also be allowed 20% off-the job training, which will involve independent study.

Funding Option

Funding Eligibility

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
