This course enables contract personnel to satisfy the need for high standards in Health & Safety training in a variety of industries. The Health & Safety Passport Scheme, accredited by the ECITB is a way of only accepting personnel who hold the Contractors Safety Passport. This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive. The aim of this course: - Reduced risk of accidents and incidents - Improved job prospects and increase competitiveness through the use of certified personnel - Legislative compliance - Reduction in company costs due to reduction in incident related costs

This course ensures that you comply with legislation and covers topics that teach skills that can be transferred to a real life situation, including: - Induction to Health & Safety Law: Work Permits - Safe working practices - Safe access and egress - Accidents and First Aid procedures - Fire precautions and procedures - COSHH and Personal Protective Equipment - Manual Handling - Noise - Working with cranes and heavy equipment - Excavations - Multiple choice examination - Course review and evaluation You will complete a multiple choice question assessment at the end of the session. Once you have passed the assessment, you will be issued with a new identification passport, which is valid for a further 3 years.

Contractor personnel working on site, whom already hold a safety passport and are seeking renewal. This course is delivered in English and therefore a prerequisite of this course is that delegates are fluent in the English language.
