The CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations is the ideal entry level qualification, aimed at those who are new to the world of procurement and supply.  During the course, delegates will build an understanding of the key elements of the supply chain process and upon completion, will be well equipped to move into entry level positions at an administrative or assistant level.  The Advanced Certificate also provides a stepping-stone for candidates looking to progress onto the level 4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply.

Learning Objectives

During this course, you will develop your theoretical and practical knowledge in procurement and supply chain management. This course is comprised of five modules which make up a total of 30 credits.  Delegates will complete four core modules totalling 24 credits, and one elective module totalling a further 6 credits. Each module will be assessed with a single 'Objective Response' examination: these are computer based, multiple-choice style exams.  Upon completing all five modules, you will be awarded the Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply.  Delegates will complete the following four core modules:  Procurement and Supply Environments (L3M1) Ethical Procurement and Supply (L3M2) Contract Administration (L3M3) Team Dynamics and Change (L3M4) Delegates will also choose one of the following elective modules:  Socially Responsible Procurement (L3M5) Socially Responsible Warehousing and Distribution (L3M6) Upon completing the Advanced Certificate, you will be the holder of a globally recognised qualification. More importantly, you will have developed the skills and confidence to progress your career in procurement and supply chain management.  Should you wish to continue your studies, you will be well equipped to study the CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

This is an entry level qualification open to all delegates from all backgrounds.  If you hold at least 2 years experience in a procurement role, you may wish to consider the CIPS Diploma in Procurement & Supply.
