A Level 3 qualification, the Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship is designed for junior marketers who are eager to drive customer-focused marketing activities. Applicable across various sectors such as finance, construction, and retail, the role involves creating and executing marketing strategies, either working within an organisation’s marketing team or for external clients. Responsibilities include planning campaigns, content creation, utilising technology, and assessing campaign effectiveness. Aspiring apprentices will engage with a wide array of stakeholders, driving marketing initiatives while demonstrating adaptability, collaboration, and professionalism.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, Multi-Channel Marketers will have knowledge and an understanding of: Marketing Fundamentals and Strategy Basic marketing principles and brand theory. The purpose of a marketing plan and customer analysis. How internal stakeholders support marketing campaigns. Understanding common marketing channels and cross-channel behaviour. Regulatory Understanding and Ethical Considerations. Relevant regulatory and legislative requirements. Principles of conducting marketing communications in an ethical and diverse manner. The impact marketing has on customer service and experience, including community management. Campaign Management and Analysis Budget management and ROI measurement. Metrics for delivery and evaluation of marketing activity. Importance of reviewing campaigns for effectiveness and optimisation. Campaign management process from research to delivery. Content Creation and Customer Journey Understanding. Creating content for online and offline mediums. Adapting communications for different stakeholders. Understanding the customer journey, personas, and engagement strategies. Quality management and maintenance of online and offline assets.

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
