This interactive CPD day is designed for those looking to explore the best 3D printing options for their own products, prototypes, or concepts. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring a CAD file, physical object, or design idea, which we'll use as a starting point for personalised discussion and technical exploration. We’ll walk through material choices, process selection (FDM, SLA, SLS, metal AM, etc.), print orientation, support strategies, and post-processing considerations. 

This is a hands-on session combining real-world problem solving with expert insight into advanced manufacturing technologies. 

This GMCA subsidised course is offered at a reduced price of £99 (£82.5 ex VAT) per person

Learning Objectives

Compare key additive manufacturing processes (e.g. FDM, SLA, SLS, and SLM) in terms of materials, resolution, cost, speed, and application suitability.
