This session has been specifically designed for large groups who want a basic first aid awareness but do not require a certificate from the awarding body. Ideal for those looking to build their confidence in dealing with minor injuries, responding to accidents and emergencies safely and using first aid equipment effectively. All training conforms to current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.

Learning Objectives

Delivered by one of our Qualified First Aid trainers guiding you through all the practical life-saving techniques. Designed to be interactive, engaging, fun and memorable.  Principles of first aid Unconscious and breathing Unconscious and not breathing Basic life support (CPR) Recovery position Choking Wounds and bleeding Treatment of burns and scalds Head injuries  This session takes place over 4 hours and will include both theory and practical elements.  To ensure all learners are reached, we use a variety of training methods including scenario-based training techniques which maximises recall. Through continual assessment, each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance.
