Skill Overview
*
*
Change is happening all around us both at work and in our personal lives. Some people easily adapt to change and others may struggle. This is particularly relevant during these unprecedented times, when the rules are changing constantly and there’s a lot of uncertainty about the future. As we find ourselves having to cope with very different ways of working, people are being asked to adapt quickly and in many instances move a long way out of their comfort zone. Inevitably this can, in some instances, lead to anxieties. The workshop will be practical and participative, and you’ll have the opportunity to talk about your views and beliefs about your own personal resilience in an informal way, and consider a range of techniques you can adopt. You’ll receive some useful, constructive input from me and your fellow participants, which will help you build your confidence. You’ll also receive a comprehensive set of course notes that will be invaluable to you as you continue your development. Price quoted is per person.

*
The aim of this workshop is to give you an insight into what personal resilience really means in today’s fast-changing environment, and help you develop it further by: - understanding change - how we respond to it and why - developing some practical ways to stay strong and less stressed during change - ideas for adapting to change successfully and how to manage your own resistance to it - understand what’s meant by “Emotional Resilience”, recognise your own level of resilience and how you can use it to become a stronger person - appreciating your own personal strengths and skills and help others to appreciate them too - reducing the impact of any negativity from others on your thinking and self confidence
