The programme is a tutor-led virtual classroom theory session and practical training giving learners the skills, knowledge and behaviours to become successful in their chosen career path. Programme includes: Safe handling of medication, first aid, infection control, Adult social care, Common health conditions, Care planning, Mental health conditions, Understanding the context of learning disabilities, Dementia and end of life, Safeguarding and, Equality & diversity.

These courses are designed to give learners the basic knowledge, skills and practice in the health and social care sector to support career development. It will provide learners with the foundations to progress within a career in health and social care, and can inspire careers into the nursing sector through university programmes. Learners will also gain essential digital skills though online learning platforms, as well as embedding contextualised functional skills.
