Welcome to the Halo Staffing micro course on shaving others (facial hair). Shaving facial hair can help the individual you care for feel clean and well-groomed. It also helps to raise their self-esteem by connecting the person to a daily routine. Feeling well-groomed might have positive impact on the individual encouraging them to meet people and participate in leisure activities. In this course we will explain to you how to shave the facial hair of others safely and effectively. We begin with first performing a risk assessment and gaining permission of the individual. We then identify what items are require and the PPE for this task. We then explain to you how you can shave the facial hair in a careful and methodical manner. Finally, we inform you what to do when you observe any cut or bleeding during or after the shave. And update the records accordingly. www.halostaffing.co.uk
