This half-day course is designed to help up to 16 participants identify, manage, and reduce workplace stress through practical strategies and tools. It covers the understanding of mental health conditions related to stress, recognising the signs and symptoms of stress, and developing resilience. Participants will also learn techniques for challenging negative thoughts, setting realistic goals, and thriving at work. Emphasis is placed on self-care and creating a balanced approach to work-life demands.

- Understand Workplace Stress and Mental Health Conditions: Gain insight into how stress impacts mental health and learn about common stress-related conditions such as anxiety, burnout, and depression. - Recognise Signs and Symptoms of Stress: Identify the physical, emotional, and behavioural signs of stress in yourself and others. - Build Resilience: Develop resilience strategies to better cope with stress and bounce back from challenges. - Challenge Negative Thoughts: Learn cognitive techniques to identify and reframe negative thinking patterns that contribute to stress. - Set Realistic Goals and Thrive at Work: Understand the importance of goal setting for managing workload and increasing productivity while maintaining well-being. - Practice Effective Self-Care: Explore self-care practices that promote mental and physical well-being, helping to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
