Welcome to the Halo Staffing Care Workforce Pathway eLearning course about the importance of maintaining someone’s dignity while providing care and support.

We will begin this course with an understanding of the principles that underpin privacy and dignity in care.

We will then inform you how to maintain the privacy and dignity of the individuals you care for.

The next section will inform you about the relevant legislations in the UK.

We will then focus on supporting an individual’s right to make choices about their own care.

Finally, we will inform you about the concept of active participation and how to encourage it within the service users.
