Construction and civil engineering are pivotal to modern-day living. Working in these industries can be a life-long career, and we believe, hugely rewarding. So, the best way for people to progress is to start with solid, knowledgeable foundations - understanding the risks and as well the rewards. And that’s where this CITB Health and Safety Awareness course comes in. The ideal introduction to the industry, it provides a practical summary of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues, individual and co-worker responsibilities, employer duties, and what they must do if they think someone’s health and safety is at risk. Primarily classroom-based exercises and tutorials featuring best practice sharing, group work, and discussions, delegates will cover legislative and practical knowledge and awareness. Working towards understanding the what, when, and why of safety practices and procedures in the industry. The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations. Choose to learn with Citrus, and delegates benefit from our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach.
