The Skills Bootcamps are a great way to train in a new technology, develop your career or move in an entirely new direction. While digitalisation is a trend in all industry sectors, Manufacturing is facing a system-wide shift. Trends towards “Industry 4.0” are accelerating. All businesses in the sector will be exposed to this (if not already), over the next few years. Understanding and maximising the use of the new technology requires specialist skills covering areas like 3D Printing, Robotics, Automation, Digital twinning, AI along with integration of AR and VR into training and production processes. 3D Printing is the fastest growing manufacturing sector on the planet, the future of manufacturing and is a major disruptive technology & along with Industry 4.0 (the 4th industrial revolution) will play a key role in achieving Net Zero. 3D360 deliver industry relevant skills and practical engineer-led rapid upskill/reskill training through our Skills Bootcamps courses aimed at addressing the current skills shortages in these key Digital/Manufacturing sectors. The programme is open to everyone and delivered part-time over 3-16 weeks (60+ hours of guided learning) providing flexible learning around work, education or personal commitments. Additional support hours for unemployed learners, including work coaching, CV writing, mock interviews. Interviews for suitable candidates will be arranged with our industry partners. 3D Printing, 3D CAD & Digital Manufacturing Skills Bootcamp is a 60-hour course delivered flexibly over between 3-16 weeks. The Level 3 equivalent course covers: • 3D printing & 3D CAD • Industry 4.0 • Robotics and Automation • VR, AR, AI, Digital Twinning • IoT, Big Data, Cyber Security • Electrification & Electric Vehicles (EVs) High level course suited to creatives/makers, manufacturers, engineers, technicians, graduates and project/operations managers. • Unemployed/Self Employed-100% funded • Under 250 employees - 90% funded • Over 250 employees - 70% funded

3D360 provide rapid upskill/reskill training for manufacturing employees, self-employed and unemployed learners for entry/new roles (3D Printer Technician, 3D Printer Trainer, 3D Printer Repair/Maintenance services, 3D Printer Technical Sales & 3DCAD Designer. These jobs are growing within self-employed /freelancer careers. They are well-paid eg. Average CAD designer base-£30k+ & in demand. 3D Printing/CAD/Digital Manufacturing supports cottage industries/self-employed due to the levelling-up nature and capabilities of 3D Printing/3DCAD/Laser cutting/engraving etc being able to compete with traditional design/manufacture companies from their desktop at home. Our Intro to Additive Manufacture, 3D CAD and Digital Manufacturing is a comprehensive flexible 10-day learning programme with 60 GLH and 20 hours of self-study, made up of 9 individual training modules covering the following subjects and learning objectives: The course equips the learner with an understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, applications and capabilities including practical Additive Manufacture (3D Printing Manufacturing and Production and 3D CAD skills sets including a module on How to generate income from Digital Manufacturing. . Help employers transition to 3D printing, additive and digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0. Includes a 2-day practical module providing an introduction to 3D printing, additive and digital manufacturing with an overview of industry applications. Build a fully functional FDM 3D printer and provide learners with advanced level practical skills and understanding of how to operate and maintain a 3D printer. 1-day Practical course on the fundamental commands and first principles that all 3D CAD systems follow and how to design for 3D printed components. Provides an overview of capabilities and applications for Industry 4.0 technologies and its importance for the future of Manufacturing and Net Zero, Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Simulation, Augmented Reality AR, Virtual Reality VR, Factory of the future, Digital Twinning, IoT, Cyber and Big Data and AI and Robotics and AI. • What is Industry 4.0? • Robotics and Advanced Automation • IoT (Internet of Things) • Electric Vehicles • Cyber security & Big Data • Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality • What is Additive Manufacture? / How to Generate Income from 3D Printing • 3D Printer Build and Operator Level Training with Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing Applications for Industry Overview • 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) Design Principles with Design for 3D Printed Components All programme graduates (or employers if co-funded) will get the keep for free the 3D Printer that they’ve built and learned how to operate and maintain during the programme to enable graduates to continue their learning and go straight into production/income generating activities straight after the course.
