The CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply is an ideal qualification for individuals moving into junior and middle management procurement roles. This course is also well suited to more experienced supply chain managers who are looking to gain an industry recognised qualification to supplement their professional experience and possibly work towards chartered status.

During your studies you will develop your skill set in a number of areas, including how to negotiate and secure contracts. You will learn how to build lasting supplier relationships and will develop a robust understanding of the current ethical and legal issues surrounding supply chain management. During this qualification you will be required to complete eight modules that make up a total of 60 credits. For each module you will complete a single examination, which will either be a computer-based, multiple-choice exam (Objective Response) or a more traditional essay-style format (Constructive Response). Delegates will complete the following eight core modules: Scope and Influence of P&S (L4M1) Defining Business Need (L4M2) Commercial Contracting (L4M3) Ethical and Responsible Sourcing (L4M4) Commercial Negotiation (L4M5) Supplier Relationships (L4M6) Whole Life Asset Management (L4M7) Procurement and Supply in Practice (L4M8) Upon completing this course, you will be the holder of a globally recognised qualification. More importantly, you will have developed the skills and confidence to tackle the procurement challenges of today and to advance your career to the next level.
