This one-day facilitated session covers the step-by-step ways to be ready to evidence that your service meets CQC expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating.

Learning Objectives

The seminar covers two key elements.
1. The benefits of the CQC assessment and what the process covers, including:
 - why assessments are important
- CQC standards and legislation
- CQC monitoring and assessment process, including ratings
2. How to involve others and prepare the evidence needed to meet CQC expectations, including: 
 - involving others in the assessment process
 - the importance of quality assurance
 - evidencing that you meet CQC standards
 - the latest insight into CQC priorities.

Learning outcomes 
You will: 
 - know about the CQC Single Assessment Framework, including the new areas of assessment focus 
 - understand successful approaches to being ready when the CQC inspector calls and visits 
 - understand what you will be expected to evidence and how to demonstrate your service meets or exceed what the CQC expect.

This seminar supports managers and teams from adult social care services who are less familiar with CQC assessment who are looking to become better prepared and more confident. The content is tailored to registered managers, quality leads, compliance leads, nominated individuals, owners and team leaders. 

This seminar looks in more depth at issues introduced in our Being prepared for CQC assessment eLearning module. Completion of the eLearning module is not required to join the seminar.
