The Data Technician Apprenticeship covers the fundamentals of how-to best work with data and maximise its potential for business purposes. It has been designed for employees who work within any role or department, who use data to produce business information and reports; or for employees looking to start a career in data analysis.

How to blend and combine data. Data quality and compliance issues How to use basic statistical methods to process and analyse data. An introduction to database design and data modelling using SQL. How to use algorithms to identify trends and patterns. How to use visualisation techniques like Power BI and Tableau Understanding Artificial Intelligence (A.I) tools and how to best use them with data

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
