This practical course equips staff in retail, logistics, and operational roles with essential digital skills to boost workplace productivity and protect against cybersecurity risks. Participants will learn how to use spreadsheets to manage data and tasks, organise their schedules using digital tools, solve common tech problems, and follow best practices to keep digital workspaces secure. Ideal for individuals with low digital confidence or those looking to refresh their workplace IT skills, this course builds capability in using everyday tools like Excel, Google Calendar, Outlook and password managers. It also increases awareness of digital threats and how to respond to them safely and professionally. Over the 4-week program, learners will explore practical tools that improve productivity and raise awareness of cybersecurity risks in the workplace. Key topics include: • Using spreadsheets to manage tasks and track information. • Organising work schedules with digital planning tools. • Troubleshooting common digital issues in day-to-day operations. • Understanding basic cybersecurity threats and how to avoid them. • Practicing safe habits when using workplace technology. Employer Benefits: • Boosts digital efficiency: Staff learn to use spreadsheets, task lists, and calendars to streamline operations and reduce admin time. • Reduce tech-related downtime: Learners gain confidence in troubleshooting common digital issues, helping to keep workflows running smoothly. • Enhances cyber awareness: Employees are trained to recognise risks such as phishing and data breaches, helping protect your business from cyber threats. • Improve digital confidence across teams: Especially beneficial for staff who are less digitally confident, supporting digital inclusion across the workforce. • Minimises disruption through flexible delivery: We offer online, in-house, or on-site delivery to suit shift patterns and operational needs. This is a non-regulated course. Session Duration – 12 hours over 4 weeks (3 hours per session)
