Skill Overview

Designed for existing and aspiring leaders and managers.  This short course will enable you to better understand and develop your leadership and management competencies.  

It includes one day face to face workshop in Central Manchester with a 1-2-1 Professional Development Conversation in person or online.  

Delivered by our experienced and qualified team you will engage with a market leading psychometric that is focused on your competencies; explore this in a 1-2-1 session with an experienced coach; experience a one day, interactive, leadership development workshop with other regional leaders that draws on the latest approaches in leadership and management. 

Through this course you will develop your leadership and management competencies to improve your work performance and career potential.  

At the end of the course you will have the option to undertake the additional learning to achieve a CMI Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management.

Learning Objectives

Reflective practice is an essential management tool which supports the development of knowledge, skills and behaviours in the work place and develops your competencies.  This course provides the tools and support for you to more effectively:

•	Evaluate own performance in the  workplace using principles of reflection.

•	Reflect on own working style and its impact on others in the workplace.

•	Analyse development needs for current and future roles.
