The CIPS Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply has been specifically designed for senior procurement and supply chain managers, who are looking to advance their career to the next level.  This qualification focuses on equipping delegates with the skills and expertise needed to become effective leaders and decision makers across all sectors and industries.  In order to apply for this programme, candidates should have already completed the CIPS Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

Learning Objectives

This qualification will build on the skills and knowledge already gained from the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

Upon completing this course, you will be the holder of a highly sought-after, industry recognised qualification. You will be able to demonstrate your expertise in leadership, communication and problem solving, and will be able to market yourself as an effective leader who is able to think strategically, influence policy and implement real organisational change.

Finally, after completing the CIPS Professional Diploma you will be eligible to apply for chartered status: this status is internationally recognised and will demonstrate your expertise and commitment to the profession to any potential employer.
The Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply comprises 60 credits. Delegates will complete four core modules which make up 42 credits and an additional three elective modules which make up the remaining 18 credits.
Delegates will complete the following four core modules:
- Strategic Ethical Leadership (L6M1)
- Global Commercial Strategy (L6M2)
- Global Strategic Supply Chain Management (L6M3)
- Future Strategic Challenges for the Profession (L6M4)
Delegates will also complete three elective modules from the following:
- Strategic Programme Leadership L6M5
- Commercial Data Management (L6M7)
- Innovation in Procurement and Supply (L6M8)
