This is the most popular first aid qualification. The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (EFAW) is the choice of many employers to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981.
Receive training by instructors who are operational Emergency Services staff who have done exactly what they are teaching and are able to pass on their experience and knowledge.


The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirement of first aid regulations; typically those working in shops, offices and other low risk environments.

Course can be delivered at clients place of work (if suitable) or our training venue in Bolton

Learning Objectives

Course covers the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, gaining consent, scene assessment, primary patient survey, managing an unconscious patient and deliver CPR if required.
ZSG use Laerdal QCPR manikins which provide live quantitative feedback on CPR quality.

Manage a patient who is:
Choking
Having a seizure
External bleeding and identify if life threatening.
Recognise shock and manage the patient.
First aid for burns and scalds.
