Skill Overview

Understanding and gaining the ability to communicate your financials with confidence and credibility. This workshop will be delivered by a professional accountant in practice and will examine the importance of financial forecasting.

This workshop is delivered in collaboration with Cooper Parry, Powdr, and NatWest Accelerator.

Powdr is a fast growing, scale-up based in Manchester. Their financial modelling software enables businesses of all stages and sizes to build robust yet flexible 5-year forecasts quickly, clearly and accurately.

The NatWest Accelerator is in its 10th year of supporting start ups and scales up nationally. It allows you to access co-working space and become part of a vibrant community of like-minded business owners in a location near you. You can also sign up for our regular events, meet your local Accelerator team, understand what support we could offer, and engage with the entrepreneurs in the hub. We are happy to host this event with our friends The Growth Company to provide even more support for our Manchester entrepreneurs.

Learning Objectives

As part of the workshop, you will learn how to prepare and present and present the financial forecasts required when raising funds. Additionally, you’ll gain insights into how funders evaluate these forecasts and incorporate them into their decision-making process, equipping you with the knowledge to better meet their expectations and secure investment opportunities.
