Our Emergency First aid at work course is designed to suit low risk businesses, and adapted to individual workplaces. This course is run in accordance as per Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is run for one day, includes theory and practical sessions. We run our courses as per HSE Regulations & Current UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 and this course is usually run as an open public course that any individual can book onto, this course is run monthly at our training centre in Bury, Greater Manchester. We can also deliver your 1 day Local Emergency first aid at Work course at your workplace, if you have 4 or more people.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years. Syllabus Includes: • First Aid Priorities • Managing Incidents • CPR + Defib Safe use (Adult only) • Choking • Recovery Position • Control of bleeding & Shock • Seizures • Heart attacks • Burns & Scalds • Regulations • First Aid kits • Recording & Reporting Successful students will be receive a certificate valid for 3 years upon completion of the course, once deemed as competent, there is no final examination as continual assessment is gauged throughout the course. Successful students are encouraged to attend a half day annual training session, if you require a recognised accredited certificate please notify us during the application process.
