This apprenticeship is for anyone who is involved in managing project work and project teams to successfully achieve the required outcomes for businesses and other organisations.  On this apprenticeship programme you will develop the following knowledge, skills and behaviours:  An associate project manager will be able to understand and have knowledge of:  Project governance  Project stakeholder management  Project communication  Project leadership  Consolidated planning  Budgeting and cost control  Business case and benefits management  Project scope  Project schedule  Resource management Project risk and issue management  Contract management and procurement  Project quality  Project context  An associate project manager will be able to demonstrate the following skills within the context of your organisation.  Project governance Stakeholder and communications management  Budgeting and cost control  Business case  Scope management  Consolidated planning  An associate project manager will be able to demonstrate the following behaviours:  Collaboration and teamwork  Leadership  Effective and appropriate communication  Drive for results  Integrity, ethics, compliance and professionalism

Learning Objectives

On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship.  This apprenticeship is underpinned by the Association for Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ).  This apprenticeship provides eligibility for student membership of the Association for Project Management (APM) as the first step of professional membership.

Funding Eligibility

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.

The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer however, you must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4/C or above or level 2 equivalent including maths and English.  If you do not hold the recommended English and Maths qualifications then, you will need to achieve these prior to taking the end-point assessment.
