The CIPR Specialist Diploma in Digital Communications is ideal for senior PR professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge, understanding and practical application of digital communications. The digital communications diploma is for both generalist PR professionals who wish to develop their understanding of the discipline and for those aiming to specialise in digital communications.

Through this level 7 qualification (Master’s level) you will gain the knowledge and skills to lead an organisation’s strategic management of digital communications and social media. This course takes approximately 6 months to complete.

Learning Objectives

To gain the CIPR Specialist Diploma in Digital Communications, you are required to complete one unit and a written assessment.

You will learn about the tools employed in strategic public relations planning, particularly within social media and digital communications. You will gain the knowledge and skills to be able to plan, monitor and measure digital and social media activities, considering stakeholder engagement and ethical implications.

The CIPR Specialist Diploma in Digital Communications is aimed at experienced PR professionals.

To undertake this qualification, you are required to have one of the following:

A previous CIPR Qualification and two years’ experience in PR
A business / marketing degree, in addition to one year’s work experience
A non-business / marketing degree, in addition to two years’ experience in PR
Four years’ full-time employment in PR, in addition to five GCSEs, one of which must be in English Language.
