This Programme is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their confidence and performance at interview and achieve success in getting the job they want.

The Programme is designed to help you improve your chances of getting the job you want by knowing how to prepare thoroughly, build your self confidence and perform well at interview.

The Programme will give you the skills to improve your interview technique by increasing your understanding of the interview process, recognising the key skills involved in giving well structured answers and selling yourself in a professional way. 

You will also have an opportunity to have a go applying the techniques in a practice interview followed by constructive feedback from the tutor and an action plan to help you build on what you’ve learnt.

Learning Objectives

Course Objectives:

- Recognising how to construct a great CV to increase your chances of getting an interview

- Identifying what’s required to prepare thoroughly for any job interview, including organising and providing the correct information required by the employer

- Understanding how you can use stated competencies, job descriptions and person specifications to identify potential questions and structure your responses to answer questions appropriately

- Exploring how to control your nerves to improve your chances of giving a confident performance

- Identifying ways to improve your interview technique and demonstrate the correct body language to sell yourself confidently and present yourself in a professional way

- Applying the skills to give thorough and well structured answers that meet the requirements of the interview panel

- Practising a trial-run interview to identify your strengths and spot areas for developing further
