This apprenticeship (average duration 21 months) is ideal for people looking to develop their knowledge within people profession. It will help to build the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to take their career to the next level.

We have created the people professional level 5 apprenticeship to ensure that the programme reflects the most current needs and best practice of the industry, we have worked with learners and employers to make sure this is right for you.

How will learning take place?
All learning is delivered as either a through a combination of live, interactive online workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions, so apprentices have the best experience possible with flexibility to manage their workload and the apprenticeship requirements. Apprentices can expect online learning to benefit from other learning resources that include supplementary e-learning, tutorials and live webinars with industry experts and
ongoing mentoring, coaching, advice and guidance.

How is the course funded?
The course can be 95% funded by the   government or paid in full, through the apprenticeship levy. Additional financial incentives may also be available. It’s the employer’s responsibility to fund the course but Realise will support
you to access funding.

Learning Objectives

Apprentices will learn how to take on more management responsibility and how to effectively support others in the workplace. Learning phases will include business acumen, commercial drive and digital working and includes the CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management.

This apprenticeship is available to employers and employees looking to upskill in their organisation. We cannot support applications from unemployed individuals.
 
Sole traders or self-employed individuals cannot enrol themselves but may enrol a new employee.
 
You have a right to work in the UK
You have lived in the country for the last 3 years consecutively and have not left for a period of over 6 months within that timeframe.

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
