Skill Overview

Develop, learn and build your bid writing skills to increase your success rates.
Our training is aimed at any level of experience and at any sector. Delivered by an experienced Bid Manager, our CPD accredited Bid Writing workshop focuses on how to write and develop the content of a bid. This interactive session, which includes practical exercises, covers understanding the buyer, bid writing and presentation. We've built our courses on bid writing/management industry best practice, from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), our own experience as a bid consultancy (we get involved in around 450 or so bids per year with a success rate of 73%) and from speaking with buyers.

Learning Objectives

The training is all about writing good content, so we look at areas such as:
•	Language & style (making it easy to read for someone who doesn't know you)
•	Structure & storyboarding (the planning)
•	Copy & paste (pros & cons)
•	Using Artificial Intelligence in bid writing – the advantages, best use of it and the risks
•	Win themes (giving the buyer the "why us?")
•	House writing styles (driving consistency and removing ambiguity)
•	Use of evidence and supporting documents
•	How to make your bid look good visually
