This Level 1 digital productivity course builds on foundational SharePoint skills to help learners plan, manage, and improve workplace processes through structured digital collaboration. Participants learn to use SharePoint Lists, Libraries, and Microsoft 365 tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and communication in everyday business tasks. The course introduces AI-supported reflection and workflow analysis, enabling learners to evaluate how digital tools improve time management and accuracy. An optional contextualised AI support element is embedded in delivery, where learners use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT to analyse, reflect, and suggest improvements to real or simulated workplace processes. Delivered through hands-on, tutor-led learning (4 hours + optional 1–2 AI reflection activity). The course develops confidence, critical thinking, and responsible digital practice in line with Level 1: Improving Productivity Using Digital Technology. Employers will benefit from: Staff capable of managing and streamlining digital workflows using SharePoint Lists and Libraries. Learners will: Identify workplace processes that can be improved using SharePoint and related digital tools. Plan and build SharePoint Lists and Libraries to manage and share data efficiently. Apply permissions, alerts, and version control to support collaboration and data accuracy. Compare traditional tools (e.g., shared drives, Excel) with modern cloud-based systems. Use AI tools to reflect on and evaluate workflow improvements, identifying efficiency gains. Demonstrate awareness of data protection, digital safety, and responsible collaboration. Communicate clearly using professional, inclusive digital language within shared systems. Review and refine digital processes based on reflection and AI-assisted feedback. Learning activities include scenario-based planning, live demonstrations, practical tasks, and AI-supported reflection exercises using anonymised data.

To be eligible for this training, you must be: • 19 years old or over • Employed, volunteering or an unpaid worker. • Have the right to live and work in the UK. • You must not already have achieved a level 2 qualification, in this subject, in the last 3 years. Learners should have a basic understanding of Microsoft 365 and digital file management. Learners must have access to: A Microsoft 365 environment with SharePoint Online and Power Automate integration enabled. Reliable internet access to use cloud-based collaboration tools and optional AI reflection activities. Institutional or personal access to approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT for guided use. All learning activities use sample or anonymised datasets to ensure safe, GDPR-compliant digital practice.
