Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course for Standard 2 – Your Personal Development, of the Care Certificate. In this course, we will take you through everything you’ll need to know in order to assist with your personal development. We will start by covering what a personal development plan (PDP) is, how to identify where you can get support for your development from, why getting feedback from others is important to your development, and how to agree to and draw up a personal development plan of your own. We will then move on to helping you to learn how to develop your own skills, knowledge and understanding by covering: what the fundamental skills are; how to check your proficiency in those fundamentals; how you can check your knowledge, skills and understanding by engaging in learning activities, reflecting on situations, and gaining feedback; talking about learning activities and opportunities; how you can demonstrate your skill gain by recording your progress; and why it is important for you to continue your professional development. www.halostaffing.co.uk
