Skill Overview

This programme is designed for employees who want to gain a thorough understanding of the processes and techniques that support all aspects of project management within the workplace.

The knowledge within this development programme has been aligned with the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) and the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ). This enables learners to sit either, or both APM exams if they wish. However, the PMQ qualification is no longer a mandatory requirement for completing this apprenticeship (changed April 2024) which means that learners can successfully complete this apprenticeship without having to pass any APM exams.

Funding Option

Funding Eligibility

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
