Welcome to the Halo Staffing Care Workforce Pathway eLearning course on Promote fire safety in the work setting. We will begin this course by establishing the basics of this subject. Having done that, we will focus on the fire hazards in a typical work setting. The next section will inform you about the accountability regarding fire safety in the workplace. At this point we will inform you about the fire safety regulations in England and Wales. This will be followed by a section which focuses on the types and uses of fire safety equipment. The next section will inform you about the fire risk assessment procedure in a care premises. We will then inform you what you need to do when you detect a fire in your workplace. The following section will discuss the importance of fire safety and evacuation plans. We will also educate you about the implications of ignoring the fire safety guidelines. Finally, we will conclude the course with a description of the importance of fire safety training in the workplace. Is this for me?
