Welcome to the Halo Staffing micro course on oral care (brushing teeth). Brushing your own teeth is a routine and a simple task, but it is not so simple when you have to do it for someone else.

Mouth care is important for maintaining oral health and preventing infections, and it also helps in improving the appetite.

In this course we will explain to you how to brush the teeth of others safely and effectively.

We begin with performing a risk assessment and gaining permission of the individual. We then identify the items required and the PPE for this task.
We then explain to you how you can brush the teeth in a careful and methodical manner.

Finally, we inform you what to do when you observe any issues before, during or after this task. And update the records accordingly.
