The DevOps Foundation® is designed for a broad audience but is most suitable for individuals involved in IT development, operations, or service management. This foundation level qualification introduces DevOps, the methodology that promotes collaboration between software development and IT operations to achieve wider business goals. The DevOps Foundation will provide you with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices, as well how to use tools efficiently and effectively within a DevOps environment. You will learn how to improve workflows and automation, how to reduce deployment cycles, and how to implement a DevOps culture within your organisation. Upon completion of the DevOps Foundation, you will be capable of delivering high-quality software solutions, exceeding customer expectations, and outperforming competitors.

The DevOps Foundation will cover a range of topics, including: DevOps objectives and vocabulary Benefits to the business and IT Principles and practices including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and the Three Ways DevOps relationship to Agile, Lean, and ITSM Improved workflows, communication, and feedback loops Automation practices including deployment pipelines and DevOps toolchains Scaling DevOps for the enterprise Critical success factors and key performance indicators Real-life examples and result The DevOps Foundation typically requires about 16 hours of learning and is assessed by a 40 question, multiple choice examination. The exam lasts 1 hour and is taken online. The pass mark is 65%.
