Skill Overview

Functional Skills qualifications are intended to support applicants who wish to upskill and have accreditation in Maths.

These qualifications will build your confidence and motivation, and the skills you gain will be valuable in the workplace and or enhance your opportunities to move forward into a new role. 

This is a 17 week programme, with a Level 2 FS exam on the final week of the course.

Use of number and the number system
Use of common measures, shape and space
Handling information and data
Solving mathematical problems and decision making
