Management of Risk 4 (M_o_R® 4) is designed to help organisations establish robust risk management frameworks, facilitating strategic alignment and informed decision-making. Through the M_o_R 4® Practitioner, you will explore how effective risk management not only mitigates threats but also unlocks opportunities for achieving organisational goals and maximising benefits. Universally applicable, M_o_R® 4 offers an integrated approach that supplies senior management with an overall view of risk. The qualification provides practical guidance for managing risk, ensuring that you gain hands-on experience and are equipped to apply the methodology in real-world scenarios.

M_o_R® 4 will cover a range of topics, including: The purpose and principles of risk management Eight processes of risk management, including identifying threats and opportunities, assessing risk profile, planning responses and reviewing/adapting The application and analysis of risk management principles Integration of risk management across six perspectives: strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product, and operational The relationship between risk management, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management Impact of organisational structure, people, and culture on risk management Stakeholder engagement and decision biases in risk management Solutions to common risk management challenges The M_o_R® 4 Practitioner is assessed by an online, open-book exam. The exam lasts 3 hours and consists of four, objective questions. The pass mark is 50%.

In order to study the M_o_R® 4 Practitioner, you must have already completed the M_o_R® 4 Foundation. The qualification is best suited to Project or Programme Managers, Risk Managers or those involved in supporting effective risk management.
