This training is necessary for all staff who support individuals who are at risk of attempting suicide or self-harm in numerous ways including the application of a ligature. Participants will gain knowledge on what is self-harm, the difference between selfharm and suicidal behaviour, the relationship between mental health and self-injury and the psychological therapies to prevent self-injury. Participants will also learn on how to safely remove a ligature. Course is for up to 12 employees, at your setting.
