This entry-level CPD course introduces beginners to the essential functions of Microsoft Excel and demonstrates how to use AI tools—such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot—to enhance independent learning, problem-solving, and productivity. Learners gain confidence in creating and formatting spreadsheets, performing simple calculations, and using AI responsibly to troubleshoot and improve their work. Delivered as a practical workshop (4 hours) with an optional AI contextualisation extension (1–2 hours), it encourages self-sufficiency, safe digital practice, and critical thinking.
