Skill Overview

For Procurement to be effective and value-adding to our end customers, internal or external, consideration and the full integration of Sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance, (ESG) factors, is critical to successful delivery.

We must embrace the principles of People, Profit, Planet in all of our procurement activities, whilst ensuring that good governance in our procurement processes and practices is maintained.

This course will provide all delegates with the tools, techniques and knowledge to be able to implement and deliver a procurement strategy encompassing Sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance, (ESG) factors.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course every participant will be able to:

* Develop a strategy, detailing how they will deliver Sustainability and ESG from their supply chains

* Explain the constituent elements of Sustainability and ESG to their internal and external stakeholders

* Educate their stakeholders on the need to implement Sustainability and ESG into every stage of the Procurement Cycle

* Articulate on the risks and opportunities of integrating Sustainability and ESG into all global sourcing activities

* Ensure that there is no element of Modern Slavery in their domestic and global supply chains.
