This 1 day workshop is for anyone whose role includes managing projects involving using other people as a key resource

The course is designed to help you understand how project management works, the factors that determine success or failure, and how to work successfully with a project team to achieve the desired outcomes.

The course will give you the skills to plan and manage all the key stages of a successful project, communicate effectively with a project team and overcome obstacles

Course Objectives:

- Understanding the key principles of project management , and why it’s different from managing the usual day-to-day tasks

- Defining and applying the key stages of a successful project, from initiation to completion and handover

- Recognising your own preferred learning style - how this can affect the way you influence others, and why you may find others’ behaviours challenging!

- Recognising the different team roles and behaviours team members adopt when working with others, and how to use the different approaches to your advantage
