Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on Sexual Health. In this course will we cover everything you’ll need to know to be able to promote good sexual health and reproductive health.

We will begin by looking at the basic anatomy around sexual and reproductive health, and defining some terms that may be used later.

From there, we’ll look at the legalities involved in sexual health, and your legal standing in helping to look after another’s sexual health.

The third section will be on consent, the specifics of consent, and making sure that consent is given.

After that, contraceptive methods, emergency contraception, and the side effects of different methods of contraception will be covered.

Following that, we’ll look at what you can do when an individual may be planning a pregnancy.

From there, we’ll cover what you can do when an individual has an unexpected pregnancy.

The seventh section will touch on sexually transmitted infections and sexually transmitted diseases, and recognising some common signs and symptoms of them.

After that, we’ll look at identifying the appropriate steps to help safeguard an individual’s sexual health.

Finally, we’ll look at how to get an individual involved in their own sexual health.
