Welcome to the Halo Staffing Care Workforce Pathway eLearning course on Supporting others to maintain good fluid and nutrition intake. We will begin this course with an explanation of the importance of good nutrition and hydration are important in maintaining health and wellbeing. The next section will focus on food safety and hygiene. We will then inform you how to identify the signs of poor nutrition and hydration. At this point we will list the relevant legislation in the UK. Having done that, we will describe the 10 key characteristics of good nutrition and hydration. The next section will explain what you can do to support others to maintain good fluid and nutrition intake Finally, we will inform how to report your concerns to the relevant person and where to seek further help from.
