This level 3 apprenticeship (with an average duration of 17 months) develops the fundamental skills a successful HR practitioner needs, whether they are just starting a new career or looking to advance knowledge and skills.

Is this course right for you?
The programme is ideal for those who want to start their career in HR or have some experience already. This apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to expand on an existing skillset, learn new behaviours and gain professional qualifications.

How will learning take place?
All learning is delivered as either a one-to-one session or webinar, so apprentices have the best experience possible with flexibility to manage their workload and the apprenticeship requirements. Apprentices can expect online learning sessions and tutorials, remote support, live webinars with industry experts, independent learning and ongoing mentoring, coaching, advice and guidance.

How is the course funded?
The course can be 95% funded by the government or paid in full, through the
apprenticeship levy. Additional financial incentives may also be available. It’s the employer’s responsibility to fund the course but Realise will support you to access funding.

Learning Objectives

Apprentices will develop a broad range of skills so that they can successfully manage day-to-day HR processes and issues. Learning phases include personal development, recruitment and performance.

This apprenticeship is available to employers and employees looking to upskill in their organisation. We cannot support applications from unemployed individuals.
 
Sole traders or self-employed individuals cannot enrol themselves but may enrol a new employee.
 
You have a right to work in the UK
You have lived in the country for the last 3 years consecutively and have not left for a period of over 6 months within that timeframe.

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
