Apply ethical, responsible, and compliant AI practices throughout the lifecycle of solution development. Design inclusive, user‑centred AI solutions using accessibility principles, bias‑aware design, and evidence‑based analysis. Build secure, scalable automation solutions using Power Automate, Copilot integration, RPA components, Python, APIs, and low‑code tools. Develop and integrate AI capabilities using prompt engineering, custom connectors, APIs, and microservices. Test and optimise AI solutions, ensuring reliability, fairness, and sustainable performance in production environments. Drive successful organisational adoption through stakeholder engagement, communication planning, enablement resources, and workforce support. Complete a real-world work‑based project demonstrating mastery across technical, strategic, and behavioural competencies.

Employer Funding Eligibility Must be 16 or older. Must have the right to live and work in England for the full duration of the apprenticeship. Must be resident in the UK (or eligible territories) Must not be enrolled in another government‑funded training programme. Levy-paying employers: Use their apprenticeship levy to cover training and assessment costs (up to the funding band). Non‑levy employers (SMEs) Government funds 95%–100% of the training cost (co‑investment model). Employers must ensure the apprentice: Is employed in a real job with wages that comply with funding rules. Receives off‑the‑job training as required within working hours.

Employers must ensure the apprentice: Is employed in a real job with wages that comply with funding rules. Receives off‑the‑job training as required within working hours. Role & Skills Eligibility Must be employed in a role that aligns with the apprenticeship standard, such as: Process improvement Digital operations Workflow optimisation Data/automation support The role must provide opportunities to: Analyse processes Build or test automation solutions Work with AI‑enabled tools Support change and adoption activity Prior Qualifications Existing higher qualifications do not automatically disqualify someone. The apprentice must not already hold a qualification that duplicates the learning outcomes of this apprenticeship. English & Maths Ideally GCSE Grade C/4 or above. If not already achieved, Functional Skills Level 2 in English & Maths must be completed during the apprenticeship (funded).
