In today’s world, ‘Cash is King.’  The challenge for the Inventory Manager is to consistently achieve extremely high stock availability, (service levels), with as low a stock value as possible!

This course will help the participant to thoroughly understand the Role of the Inventory Manager and equip them with the tools and techniques to optimise their performance.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, every participant will: 

* Have a full understanding of the Role and Key Objectives of the Inventory Manager

* Be able to categorise Stock Keeping Units, (SKU’s) / parts effectively to prioritise their activity

* Have an understanding of all key Stock replenishment Systems, e.g. MRP, Kanban and how they work in practice

* Recognise that Suppliers and Supplier Relationships are critical to success and what they need from Suppliers to optimise their position

* Understand the effect that Stock Holding has on Finance and the Company’s Cashflow and the importance of the Inventory Managers role in this.
