The 2 week programme can be highly beneficial as it focuses on practical and relevant skills that can be applied in real-life situations. Unlike traditional academic courses, Functional Skills is designed to be learner-led and tailored to individual needs, allowing learners to progress at their own pace. Teaching methods employed in Functional Skills courses are often interactive and engaging, promoting active learning and facilitating knowledge retention. This can lead to increased confidence, motivation, and a sense of achievement for learners. Experience of Functional Skills can be both rewarding and empowering, providing the skills they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives. The programme is designed to develop English skills from basic to level 2.
